Raisins “Soyaki Hybrid” (size 4)
Description
1. How it is grown and harvested: Uzbekistan is one of the world’s oldest grape-growing regions, and raisin making has been practised here for more than a thousand years. Dry air, little rainfall during the harvest season and long hours of sunshine allow grapes to be dried naturally with minimal risk of spoilage, which gives Uzbek raisins their reputation for clean, intense flavour. Hybrid raisins are produced from modern hybrid seedless grape varieties cultivated in the irrigated vineyards of Uzbekistan. These varieties were selected for large berries, high sugar content and resistance to the region’s hot, dry climate. The bunches are harvested by hand in late summer and early autumn when the berries have reached full maturity and maximum sweetness. They are then dried naturally under carefully controlled conditions until the berries reach the correct moisture level, giving a plump, meaty texture with a pleasant chew. Because hybrid varieties ripen reliably and evenly, each harvest gives a consistent product from year to year, which is important for buyers who need stable quality for regular supply.
2. Processing and packaging details: Dried berries are de-stemmed, cleaned of stalks and debris, washed and gently dried again before sorting. Sorting is done by size, colour and condition, and any broken, sugared or defective berries are removed. Hybrid raisins are offered in Size 1 (premium large berries) and Size 4 (smaller, cost-efficient calibre). The product is packed in food-grade polyethylene liners inside strong export cartons, protecting it from humidity and contamination and keeping it soft and fresh throughout storage and shipping. Store raisins in a cool, dry place (ideally 5–15 °C, relative humidity below 65%), away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Under these conditions the product keeps its quality for 12 months or more. Natural sugar crystallisation on the surface over time is normal and does not affect quality. Each lot can be supplied with export documentation, including a phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin, on request.
3. Health benefits and nutrition: Like all grape raisins, Hybrid raisins provide quick natural energy from fruit sugars together with dietary fibre for digestive health. They contain potassium, iron, magnesium and B-group vitamins, and grape polyphenols with antioxidant properties. Their large, fleshy berries make them very satisfying, so a small handful is often enough as a healthy alternative to sweets and processed snacks. Thanks to their size and appearance, Hybrid raisins are well suited to premium retail packs, gift boxes and table snacks. They work beautifully in rice dishes, pilaf, compotes, baked goods, chutneys and sauces for meat and poultry, as well as in breakfast cereals and trail mixes.
