Description

1. How it is grown and harvested: Uzbekistan is one of the world’s oldest grape-growing regions, and raisin making has been practised here for more than a thousand years. Dry air, little rainfall during the harvest season and long hours of sunshine allow grapes to be dried naturally with minimal risk of spoilage, which gives Uzbek raisins their reputation for clean, intense flavour. Soyaki Giant is made from carefully chosen bunches of large-berried seedless grapes grown in the sun-rich valleys of Uzbekistan. Only the healthiest bunches with the biggest, most even berries are selected at harvest. Like classic Soyaki, the grapes are dried slowly in the shade of a traditional soyakhona, where natural air flow removes moisture gently over several weeks. This slow shade-drying keeps the berries soft, preserves their natural green-golden colour and develops a fine, honeyed grape flavour.

2. Processing and packaging details: After drying, the berries are de-stemmed, cleaned, washed and dried, then strictly graded so that only extra-large berries enter the Giant line. Hand inspection removes any berry that does not meet the standard for size, colour or skin quality. The product is available in Size 1 and Size 4 calibres and is packed in food-grade liners inside export cartons, keeping the raisins clean, dry and free-flowing until they reach the customer. Store raisins in a cool, dry place (ideally 5–15 °C, relative humidity below 65%), away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Under these conditions the product keeps its quality for 12 months or more. Natural sugar crystallisation on the surface over time is normal and does not affect quality. Each lot can be supplied with export documentation, including a phytosanitary certificate and certificate of origin, on request.

3. Health benefits and nutrition: Soyaki Giant offers the same nutritional value as classic shade-dried raisins: natural fruit sugars for fast energy, dietary fibre for digestion, and minerals such as potassium, iron and magnesium. Grape antioxidants (polyphenols) contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. It is a natural, wholesome snack and a better choice than confectionery for a sweet treat. Their large size also makes portion control easy: a few berries are enough to satisfy a sweet craving, which makes them a smart choice for people who want to cut down on sugary sweets. Because of its exceptional size and look, Soyaki Giant is ideal for premium retail, gift assortments, hotel and restaurant tables and festive dastarkhan. It is also excellent in plov, desserts, cakes and fruit-and-nut mixes, where large berries make a visible quality statement.
